I bought this mixer to use for making frosting for cakes. The mixer it’s self was a good mixer just did not work well for making frosting. It only has 3 settings and either mixed way too much or on lower or medium setting not enough.

I've had my 15qt mixer for a couple of months now and it's amazing. I make 150 bagels a week and it doesn't bat an eye at my recipe times 8 in one go. I make pizza crusts, tortillas, sandwich bread, and more...and this mixer just keeps on mixing. It's a beast. Bagel dough is nothing to scoff at and my old Kitchen Aid (that I love dearly) just couldn't keep up.My only complaint (and it's not even remotely in the realm of taking a star away) is that there seems to be no way to add an additional bowl, which I would gladly pay for. In searching for an additional bowl, there also seems to be no way to contact the seller. I can only communicate with Amazon on this, and they have nothing to do with anything other than hosting the listing and delivering the product. Hint hint, Towallmark...sell the bowls, too.

The most important factors to me are whether this machine can fit enough batter/dough to save me time and if it can complete the mixing without causing my bakery to look like a catastrophe hit. None of the mixing "speeds" allow for the batter/dough to stay in the bowl and not go all over the entire kitchen or bakery. There's no warm up, basically... no gradual increase in speed like there is with my KitchenAid. I have to apply saran wrap and large towels all the way around the mixer coverings and even then, flour and cocoa powder will manage to escape from a crevice somewhere. Very frustrated with this mixer. It's wasting more of my time than it would be saving at this point.It's been a few months so I wanted to post an update. I'm still having the trouble I described above. I've adjusted my process now but still find it incredibly frustrating.For large cookie batches, if it's a thick dough, the mixer will struggle and stop working. You'll have to go through all the steps of trying to reset it. There's a button underneath the timer that helps with resetting it but it doesn't always do the trick. As a safety feature, you're unable to open the grated cover while the mixer is working. I'd rather have the safety feature but find it takes more time to have to turn the mixer off when adding ingredients. Also, the lift handle stopped working so I have to lean over to lift the bowl by the handle while turning the lift wheel in order to bring the bowl up. I don't have this issue when lowering the bowl. Overall, I still regret this purchase.

We were just going to upgrade our kitchenaid. We decided to get this as we have events that call for large amounts of products. Using the kitchenaid, which is great, would require many batches.This product has been incredibly valuable to us.Support is great as the bowl game with an inner ding. The offered to cut the price and it wasn't a small amount to make it right. 100% satisfied from that experience.strongly recommended

had cheaper mixers almost burned up for heavy duty bread do for holidays this 1 turns it no problem good investment for future as do lots holiday time only thing wondering is attachments dishwasher safe if someone knows would appreciate
