Good on my little lever gun with some DIY. See pics. This will cover some carbines sling stud. Just put in on and see where the stud sits. Take a very sharp knife and make a tiny little slit.Push the stud through then take a lighter to burn any loose nylon/elastic and to keep it from running. Then you can still use a rifle sling in thay stud.Be aware that modifying this in such a way could void any sort of warranty provided.

While the sleeve hold shotgun shells well, two small design changes would make it better. First, the sleeve is not tapered to fit butt stocks tightly so it kind of hangs there and doesn't grasp the stock evenly. Second, I had to cut a small hole in the sleeve so the shotgun sling could attach to the shotgun's sling eyelet. The manufacturer should account for shotguns with slings and have pre-drilled a hole in the sleeve.

Dose not fit a Mossberg butt stock, it will not conform to the shape and stay in place.

Loops fit .357 well. Was a tight fit on lever action chappa. Definitely worth the money just to protect the stock and I hate having a pocket full of ammo when transporting on the quad.
