I did not like the fact that the bottom piece that fits onto your stirrup isn't big enough. I had ordered a Tough 1 Swivel and Lock Stirrup Turner from Amazon and the replacement was the very same except it came from a place called AJ Tack, Buffalo N.Y. There was no Amazon packaging like the first time. Big discrepancy in price as well.

I really like these stirrup swivels, they have made a huge difference for my knees. On the picture it shows black, but I got a copper color, not what I expected. I kept them because I needed them for a riding trip I was taking and did not have time to send them back. I ended up buying another set from a different seller when I got back in black. So if you order make sure you know what color you are getting.

Normally I'm very happy with JT International products. This one however was a huge disappointment. After only 3 rides the swivel stopped locking. There's a tiny screw that either loosened up and fell out or broke that keeps the stirrup in position. Now it spins when there's no foot in it and some how ratchets down while riding so you can't adjust it. I would recommend the fixed style if you want your stirrup in a predictable position for mounting and riding. Don't buy this one. I did contact Amazon returns and the seller for options prior to writing this review. I still have stirrups that don't work that I paid way too much money for

I have always had knee and back pain when riding. I rode for 11.5 hours with no knee or back pain. (we got lost on a trail). Wow! The only problem I had is that the little screw that keeps the stirrup where you want it comes loose all the time. I plan to glue the screw in.

Great product! If stirrups bother your knees an ankles, these stirrup turners will give you much needed relief. Especially with a new saddle.The only problem I have found, is that the screws seem to come loose over time and need to be tightened. This is a safety issue and must be addressed. Mine came loose after only about three uses.Once you find the proper positioning, I would recommend that you secure them with some "Lock Tight" or "Liquid Nails" in order to keep them safe and attached securely. It is a simple fix to a logical issue. Otherwise, (with this minor adjustment) i would highly recommend the product!

I bought these swivel stirrups because I have a lot of leg, foot and knee pain when I ride. I bought the smaller size, but they were still a little big for my stirrups (I'm short, and have small saddle/stirrups) so my hubby used the grinder on the ends to fit them. In the future I'm going to buy another set for my other saddle and they will fit those stirrups perfectly.After using them once, I could get off my horse without pain and I could walk immediately with no pain. I usually have to sit down and stretch out my ankles as soon as I get off the horse, so having no pain after riding is so great! About 30 minutes into a ride I usually have really bad knee pain from an injury I sustained in a car accident many years ago, but no such pain with these swivel stirrups. These make your stirrups longer, so be aware that you may have to shorten them to keep them the same length.I recommend these 100% for anyone who has pain while riding.
