I purchased this as a hack to create a tack storage are in the back of our stock trailer. The hooks are the perfect size to hook over the edge of the aluminum if the vertical bar is aligned with one of the vertical beams. I added a little safety tie through the pommel of the saddle in the event that the motion of the trailer causes the saddle to slip. That has proved necessary.

I have it hanging on my wall in my barn with a heavy western saddle on it and it works fine. Seems to me someone must try and put 2 hundred lbs on it to break.

Made in China, took forever to get here USPS shipped kept saying its late again and again. Afraid to place my 2 western saddles on as it’s cheaply made and probably will break. I would not suggest for the horse lover. Spend the money on materials and build one yourself even if you don’t know how it will more than likely be better than this POS.Not to mention plastic pieces missing and broken when received. STAY AWAY!!!!

I put off opening the box for this saddle rack for several weeks because I didn’t think I had time to set it up. When I opened the box I couldn’t believe how silly I was. This saddle rack takes less than a minute to set up and breaks down into three mostly flat pieces which is perfect for travel, no extra tools required! I have my saddle rack hanging over a board in the barn up against the wall with two English saddles on it, and plan to use it like this permanently, I don’t foresee any problems with doing this. The hangers swivel, making it extremely easy to hang almost anywhere.

Perfect. Goes anywhere and holds on to all my fences and wood posts. Where ever I need a saddle rack it's there and I love that it breaks down completely
