I've used this training whip to help me with my mustang gelding and my very temperamental mare, and it has helped so much. It should not be used to actually whip any animal, but as an extension of the arm, it works well. Everything important has held up so far through much use. The string part is easily removable, and you can attach bags or anything really to the stick itself. It's also pretty easy to shorten the string if needed. The only downside is that the color does not last, but a little colored tape or something would fix it if you're into the color customization. The handle has also held up well, which I am surprised about. The length is nice, shorter than a longe whip. I really like that it's a little thicker and heavier so you can actually feel the weight in your hand. For instance, it's strong enough to help reach and pull straps, but it's not so heavy that your arm gets tired from using it.For the price, this is a great training whip.

I have used this whip in training my two young horses I really like how short the stick is and and rope part is not too long. I am only 5'1" and my other whip had too long of a stick on it. I really like this one.

Using Warwick Schiller's training methods (highly recommend) and this stick works perfectly! Very nice quality! Going to order a 2nd one soon as a back-up (just in case it gets stepped on or disappears). Has decent reach without being too heavy, and love that you can remove the string if needed.

What a GREAT deal!!! I am so glad I did not pay for "the name" on the famous clinicians version. This one works great at less than half the cost. It is exactly what I need to help my pushy new horse learn better ground manners. I really like having the option of the stick or the stick with the string extension as needed. I would highly recommend to anyone looking at the more expensive version.

This product is really nicely made but it does seems much larger than a Parelli Carrot Stick. I think it will do the job just the same but I haven't tried it out yet. I think the color (purple) is nice and the product seems well made. I am excited to try it out. Plus it shipped from amazon very fast :)
