My 12 year old daughter wore these once and they came home torn. She dug for a ball and came up with a ripped sleeve and injured elbow skin.

She did end up getting a rip in them by the thump but I’m not sure how.Still did the job for a volleyball season.

PRO's:• Good quality materials and construction.• Padding is minimal. Just enough to take the sting out of repeated bumps from a volleyball to bare skin.• Sleeves stay in place well using a combination of a snug fit, thumb holes, plus a silicone strip on the upper arm.CON's:• I haven't been able to fully decipher the care tag, it seems to have become confused in translation.

Granddaughter loves them . First year playing volleyball . Her wrist were sore from hitting the ball . This helped her out . The padding is thin but it takes the sting away .

I initially got this for my older middle school child but the Youth Small (YS) did not fit her. So I tried it on my 9yr old instead. She did mention she felt it was a bit tight but it did not cause her to be restricted in completing regular tasks nor did she complain of discomfort to the point of pain. The material feels very sturdy and put together. Regardless of the designs, I love how dark this item is to maintain a clean look. As a nurse, I do think this is very fitting for athletes and because it does not go over the elbow, it shouldn’t restrict any joints or cause further injury.

I got this for myself - I am a petite adult, and size YL fits me perfectly. I think YM would probably fit too, come to think of it.I love the colors of these sleeves: they are very deep and saturated, adding a touch of beauty and whimsy to the workout gear. The fabric feels nice and smooth to the touch, and so far, I haven't noticed any extra sweating from the sleeves.They have padding on the insides of the arms where you are supposed to hit the ball, which is awesome because it actually reminds a volleyball newbie like myself where the ball is supposed to contact the arm! The padding is not so thick as to impede movement, but just right to save your tender inner arms from too much bruising.It's an excellent piece of gear, especially for newly minted players, and it looks gorgeous too!

Theyre comfortable, fits nicely, there is no real compression, and thats great because we werent looking for much compression in these. She also loves the color, her teammates are asking where she got them!

They have definitely reduced bump fatigue during VB games. Cute design and they fit well
