Installed today in my 2012 Ford Escape (XLT 2.5 liter 4 cylinder) and working beautifully. Was an exact replacement and I'm quite happy.

Got myself a good unit, was a little excited to see it charging at 14.6v as I got some music in the car, works good and was a direct swap other then the rear housing for the alternator cooling which isn’t hard to swap (they don’t sell any alternators with that rear housing to my knowledge) will definitely buy another in the future if needed

Part is very good match to OEM. It installed well and is working as expected. I purchased this for my daughter’s car because the price was right and Amazon listed it as next day delivery. After multiple excuses and multiple changes in delivery date, I received it 8 days later. Since her car wasn’t able to be used and the added cost from Uber and rides from family and friend, made the purchase experience not worth the price.

The product description says it would fit a 2009 to 2012 Ford Escape. So I purchased and missed the fitment flag that says “does not fit” then see several alternators are described as fit this vehicle are flagged the same.

Installed on a 2010 Focus with no issues. Quality was good and price is great compared to an auto parts place. Checked operation after install and alternator is working as it should. Will update review if longevity is an issue but for now it's got my daughter's car back on the road.
