The best alternative to Nintendo that I've found! My daughter was going through about 6-10 low budget chargers a year 😩 This is the first charger that actually fits the port without having to jiggle it and tape it to the left 😆For this I am thankful. Definitely ordering a few more just to have them around. Totally worth it. I'm so happy I found this

The Tomee charger for the Wii U gamepad is basically a USB charger with a cable that plugs into the Wii U gamepad. However, the Tomee charger only puts out 1 amp (spread across two USB ports) while the genuine Nintendo charger puts out 1.5 amps. This makes a big difference in charging capability. It's sad that this deficient product is still available in 2021 without matching the Nintendo spec.

good idea, if something happens to the cord, you just replace the cord. my grandsons,who use this on there wii u,have gone thru three chargers that had the cord attached.

Lo compre para alguien mas, viendo que no me reclamo pienso que funciono correctamente, aunque ya no me pidio que le comprara mas cosas, algo que puede significar que ya no me tiene confianza... No creo que esta reseña sirva de mucho pero digo es un adaptador de corriente para WiiU si perdiste el anterior o compraste una consola sin el adaptar este te puede servir.

Works as advertised. Just wish I did not waste my money on a Wii U. The cord could have been longer though since the battery on the game pad does not last too long.

Bought this, it charged normally first night. Second day it stop working completely. Could not see a reason why it stop charging at all.

Item charged ONE time then stopped working altogether! Does not charge I would not recommend. Do not buy. Waste of money.
