In the Eastern world, you are supposed to squat when you go to the toilet, and that makes it quite easy to "go". Here in the Western world, the upright sitting position makes "going" a little more complicated and time consuming. The moment I tried this stool, it put my body in the correct position to "go" already at the shortest setting, and from that moment, it's history.Once done, I don't even need to fold it down, it can just slide it under the toilet seat (thanks to the curve being a perfect fit) and it's out of the way.It is also useful to help shorter people reach the higher cabinets around the house. Even a couple extra inches makes a big difference in grabbing something from the top shelves, and it's more stable than using a chair.So, big thumbs up!

This has been great after having a baby. Not only do they recommend having a stool it doubles as a small table near the toilet for postpartum care supplies. Once the baby gets older it will make a great size for reaching the toddler toilet. I especially appreciate that it matches the bathroom aesthetic with black and dark woodgrain.
