These shorts are sturdy and good quality. The fabric is nice and thick. We ordered three sets in different colors, and I'm happy with all of them. The quality was consistent. If you are considering purchasing these shorts, you should know they are longer than other brands (like Carter's), and a bit roomier in the waist. The drawstring is just sewn on and is not functional, so these shorts probably wouldn't be a good choice for kids who are very slender. My son is very comfy in them.
