TOAUTO TMF12000V-V3 Melting Furance ingenuity shines through with its Round design and 3D Heating system. These two features allow for your metals to have maximum exposure to the "sweet spot" of the flame allowing for a faster and more even firing, that can make the temperature in the furnace rise quickly and heat up to 1000℃(1832℉) within 15 minutes.
We beat the competition with 1.5"THICKER CERAMIC COTTON + 1" HIGH DENSITY RIGID COATED than competitor’s thin ceramic kaowool version, It can resist 2600° Fahrenheit (1425° Celsius Approx.）, to provide superior heat reflection allowing higher temperatures and resist high-velocity firing.
The powerful burner gives out a neutral flame leaving a small amount of oxygen for scaling. High-quality nozzle made from SS-304 for increases the efficiency of the burner with the help of 30PSI Propane Regulator with CSA Group Certification which regulates the amount of air that is mixed with the propane during combustion, can hook up to American standards Propane Tank directly.
Once you melting anything from your metal, you need something sturdy to pour it into. So we designed the TF 113ML graphite ingot mold that's able to hold 2.2KG gold,1.2KG silver,1KG copper. 99.95% Graphite, ensuring that the metal purity will not be affected during metal refining and saying no to any metal waste.

It is built well enough. It doesn't get hot enough to melt copper, With the 12 kilogram graphite crucible. I am going to try to treat the fiberglass insulation with refractory cement. I might need to take apart the burner and look at the nozzle. It uses an ACME (right-handed) propane regulator on the Venturi-style burner. Usually these types of burners use POL regulators, which use the left-handed threading on a propane tank, and allow for higher propane flow rates. But, I'm going to see if the refractory works first before changing the regulator. One risk of using a POL regulator is too much propane, which would create improper fuel/air and possibly an explosion risk.As others state, the connection between the pipe and the body glows red and will create a fail point and a possible dangerous situation. I'm going to see if I can get some fiberglass in that connection to protect it. I'll update the review after I finish.

The pipe glows red and it's poorly designed. You have to have to angle of the propane nozzle pointed in a very precise location. And it still glows and burns at the edge of the pipe where it connects to the furnace

A furnace that works well in my opinion. The first thing I did was layer the cotton, not to let the fibers come off. Melt copper easily using two burners. A 12kg container is excessive, haha. You will be surprised how much copper it contains. The clamp isn't too bad. I recommend getting a better set for lifting and pouring. Also get a large stainless steel spoon to remove slag in between adding more copper. I tried using what I had and either it melted or the copper stuck to it. Gently heat the new container then leave it to cool completely overnight then it is ready to use. I poured a few bars on the first day with a 3kg graphite mold I bought separately.

I’m really happy with this furnace! It was easy to set up and heats up fast. The flame is strong, and it keeps a good temperature for melting metals. The insulation works great, and it feels solid and durable.I’ve used it a few times now, and it gets the job done perfectly. It’s the right size for small projects, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable furnace!

The manual is very basic. But you should check the internet for more information on crucibles and how to coat them with the borax that is recommended

This kit comes with mostly everything you need to get started with smelting. Some of the items could be a bit better quality, but for an intro kit, it seems fine. Shows you everything you need to get started and maybe get better quality items later if you want.

This kit got my attention as I intended to build one of these furnace and basically, it is built based on the information I found. Sadly, this is winter here, and I won't risk mixing snow (or water) with melted aluminum. I will review the construction for now, and come back to the review once I fired up the thing.Structure: This is basic steel with some powder coating on top of it. As mentioned on the documentation, the paint is expected to burn and flake. That is OK for the kind of usage. The input port is easily accessible, welded correctly and the burner fits in easily. The top cover is OK, it retains the insulation correctly. Insulation is close to 40 mm, maybe it was squeezed in the handling, but the cover has the same kind of thickness. The burner is a little deep, so I’ll need to find something to fire it up securely with thee ridicule in place.Regulator and hose. This is a pretty standard burner hose and regulator, similar to what we go on outdoor boiling kit. The add-on here is the pressure gauge, and I really like this, this will really help fine tune the temperature. Reading temperature will be a challenge, thermocouple are limited to 1000 Celsius, (and melted aluminum would kind of short them), and my infrared thermometer goes only to 380 Celsius, this looks like I will guess based on melting aluminum cans.Burner: This is quite rudimentary, but there is not much more to a burner. The gas goes out through a small hole, the hole is aligned and glued in place. The burner can be separated in 2 parts for infection and realignment. There is no seal on the thread, and this is not required as there is no pressure at this point. The air/gaz ratio can be adjusted with the big washer and wing nut, I would have liked a locking screw to lock thee setting in place. I have no doubt about this getting serious heat once adjusted correctly.Accessories: A decent pair of leather gloves, with a layer of insulation better than my welding gloves. The tongs are OK, they look to be forged from steel rebar, they should do the job. If deep-frying a turkey is considered dangerous by many (but I still do it), I will clearly be cautious about melting aluminum. I feel more protection would be safer, and I’ll wear CSA safety boots, leather apron and probably leather chaps if I can find some. The mould is ok for extra material, it may be small if I have too much slag ion my material, in which case I will need to melt some clean ingot that will be remelted for the final cast.Crucible: The crucible is a consumable, it can be reuse a certain amount of time. It is OK for the job.Overall, a nice kit, well-built.
