Well....you'll never know just how much metal shavings and sentiment you have in your transmission drain pan until you remove it and visibly see how well this magnet works. This is a cheap piece of insurance that can help you avoid costly transmission rebuilds. My only regret was not installing this on my truck when it was brand new. This magnet is super strong, so care must be taken when securing it to your transmission pan. It will literally snap right out of your hand, so be sure to place only the edge of the magnet in precisely the area where you want it before securing it fully.

It doesn't fit my car, the fluid transmition pan is made of a metal that doesn't make Filtermag get attached to it.
