What could be more beautiful than an elegant titanium seat clamp binding a titanium seat post to a titanium frame?Perhaps, one that works.It seems that having so much material on the bolt side of the clamp stopped it flexing enough as the clamp tightened to have the bolt run straight. No matter how much grease I used, there was always a point at which the bolt became wedged and refused to tighten further - long before the seat post was clamped.There are other titanium clamps out there that don't have this problem. Mostly by having a more traditional shape and using a cylindrical nut. Now that I got one, I'm as happy as a hog... .

Doesn't actually work as a seatpost clamp.Before it gets tight enough to actually clamp your seatpost, the upper band deforms and slips off the collar.This damaged my bike.

I got this seatpost clamp on a whim without first reading reviews because I need needed a replacement ASAP. After reading other people's reviews of this clamp, I was dubious about the purchase and had intended to just return it and wait to ride till I had my second replacement. The reviews don't do this product justice, though; it retained my dropper and tightening it wasn't a problem. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

I really wanted to love this clamp--it's pretty and who doesn't love machined Ti? The problem is that the design makes it far too weak to clamp properly. I tried using a ton of carbon friction paste, then double-checking to make sure post was the right size, and finally thought to try another clamp. I got a Wolf Creek clamp the same size and it works beautifully. So, guys, redesign is in order.

Item was sent with a steal and titanium bolt. I used the titanium one. Mine was also machined different then one pictured. More material removed. Took nearly 10nm to get seat tight enough to make seat post not twist. Hopefully it will hold up.

It hadn't been engineered properly, meaning it was impossible to sufficiently tighten.

The aluminum alloy clamp on my Titanium bike broke while the bike was parked over night in the garage - thank God not during a ride. Ordere this Titanium clamp and it works great, looks good and isn't too heavy. Hope this was the last I ever had to buy for this bike.
