A high-quality timing belt kit with water pump, usually located in the front of the engine, wrapped around a series of gears. The noise and the transmission resistance is small, the operation is stable, which reduce the damage of the car.
The timing belt coordinates the rotations of the camshaft and crankshaft which in turn, ensures that the valves and pistons all move in sync.
We recommend replacing your kit regularly for 60,000-100,000 miles.Over time the belt expands or contracts due to heat and age which cause the belt to slowly deteriorate.when replacing the timing belt, you'd better replace the water pump and other timing components to avoid further engine damage.

What Does a Timing Belt Do?
The timing belt keeps the camshaft and crankshaft turning at the correct rate.The crankshaft moves pistons up for compression and exhaust cycles, while the pistons move down for power and intake cycles. Depending on the vehicle make, a timing belt will also run the water pump, oil pump and injection pump.
When do the timing belt with water pump need to be replaced?

Tensioner pulley at a angle, OEM tensioner pulley is straight. Did not use tensioner pulley would not recommend using it either!I was excited when ordering kit with all the parts on the kit. Until it arrived!Belt and water pump seem fine

The bolt included with the tensioner was undersized by .3mm and would not toque up. I sent a message to the seller 2 days ago and received zero feedback. I would have liked to replace the tensioner with the new belt, but did not receive feedback on obtaining a replacement. I had already installed the water pump and belt and was not sure if I could return them after installing.

I replaced the timing belt and water pump on my 2009 3.5L V6 Dodge Charger SXT. Its been a little over 6 months since I installed the parts and they're holding up great! The kit does not include a belt tensioner (best to stick with the Original Equipment Manufacture belt tensioner). Simply compress the tensioner using a 6" C clamp and insert a small allen key to hold in place (take note of how the tensioner will be reinstalled so you insert the allen key on the correct side the first take).
