This container is a lock-and-leave system for training your habits to disappear. You can set the timer and activate the lock, and the lid will lock with the base, when the timer reaches 0, the lid will unlock. Just lock up those tempting items that may distract you from achieving your goals.
Note: The container can only be turned off when it is in standby mode. To do so, press and hold the function key for 5 seconds.
CHARGING YOUR TIME-LOCKING CONTAINER
1. Connect the container to a power outlet using the USB-C charging cable (included) and a 5V USB power adapter (not included).
2. Your container continues to charge until it is fully charged.
- While the container is charging, the battery indicator light is red.
- When fully charged, the battery indicator light will turn blue.

- This container is not capable of fast-charging.

Correction: It does have an override code.It's ok. I initially received a used lock box but the seller quickly sent a replacement. The lock box works as it should but the only issue I have is there is no override sequence. So if you really need to get into the box before the time has expired you have to break it. Wish it had a code or button sequence override.

I was really excited to try this initially but my excitement quickly went away. Technically it *works* but I'm a bit skeptical it'll work for too long honestly.First of all, it takes a while to get it to turn it on (even when following the directions and holding down the power button for 5+ seconds and fully charging it). The buttons aren't very responsive and can be hard to push down on. Once you do finally get it to turn on, then the actual buttons aren't super intuitive at all - make sure you keep the directions until you get the hang of it. The other thing is that when you push down a button, the screen is weird/bad and you can see the other text (Charge battery - even though it's 100% charged) flash whenever you hit a button -- like when you push down on a screen which you aren't supposed to. I think it's poorly built.I didn't see a battery charge level indicator either so I guess you just have to... guess?The top of the container does charge (even though it takes a LONG time to charge) and the indicator light works well between the red for charging and blue for fully charged. The clear plastic part isn't too flimsy which is good, but mine arrived with some scratches on the inside which isn't ideal. The top lid part is also super thick which unfortunately takes away from the space you have in the container, and not sure why it needs to be that thick. The lid also doesn't 'click' into place at all until locked, so if you're carrying the container when it's not locked and you tilt it, the lid will fall off and everything will spill out.I don't have faith this will last for long unfortunately. Will probably just end up using it for storage. I'm nervous that my things may get trapped inside forever and I'll need to break it...Given all these issues, the price is too high for this poor quality. I wouldn't recommend.

A few years ago I purchased a similar product & found it to be very handy but uses batteries. I like the rechargeable feature on this product. Its also bigger but is still manageable. I like the clear bottom so you can see/remember what you put in it. With a little imagination you can use this many ways. A fun & favorite way is to put a wrapped gift inside & set it to unlock on the day of the special occasion (birthday, anniversary, Christmas, etc.). A fun way to "tease" someone. I will mostly use it for my favorite chocolate candy. I'll remove 2 to 3 pieces of the chocolate, and before I taste that wonderful candy, I'll hurry up & lock the canister because once I taste this chocolate I want more & this item prevents that from happening. Everything works perfectly. Tested the timing feature more than once & it was extremely accurate. I'm very happy with the size, the way it locks & how easy it is to program it.

This worked really well for my family. It was easy to understand the instructions and everything worked as it should. Definitely a good product if you are wanting to get together without phone distractions.

Very useful unit, it helped me curb my cravings. I would recommend purchasing if you want to reduce snack eating or any other bad habit. Once it's locked up, you can't open it until the time is up.

Really great working timed lockbox. Once you pick something in it’s there for the allotted time. Nice size, easy to use.

I like the idea of a timed lockbox that can't be overridden, especially as someone who struggles with distraction and impulse control sometimes. The container part is crystal clear, while the white top contains a rechargeable battery and the timing mechanism. The buttons are a bit hard to push sometimes, and I don't find the use to be intuitive quite yet, so I highly recommend keeping the instructions. I did find the container to keep its contents secure, and couldn't find a way to override the locking function. It seems relatively well-built and can hold more than I'd anticipated, so I can recommend this lockbox if you're in the market for this sort of thing.
