Built-in NATO rails on both the top and left sides of the camera cage. Compatible with the new Tiltaing Compact NATO Top Handle. Allows the user to easily switch between horizontal and vertical operating modes.
NEW TILTAING COMPACT NATO TOP HANDLE
Compact and lightweight design for easy operating. The NATO rail allows for quick assembly and disassembly. Built-in cold shoe mount, 1/4”-20, and 3/8”-16 screw holes allow for easy mounting of accessories such as an on-board monitor, microphone, articulating arm, etc.
M6/Φ25 ROSETTE
ARRI standard rosette allows for mounting a Tiltaing Adjustable Top Handle. Easily switch between horizontal and vertical operating modes.
38 MM ARCA-SWISS DOVETAIL
Compatible with quick releases on gimbal, tripod head, etc.

Muy bueno, justo lo que esperaba. Lo único que no me gustó es que no trae un instructivo impreso. Esas cosas se extrañan, ahora tienes que buscar un pdf en la página etc, y todo bien, por ahorrar papel, pero aun asi, nada como estar viendo el manual y armando el aparato para instalarlo con la cámara.En fin, de ahi en fuera, todo excelente.

Good cage. Instructions provide images of wrong cage. Not compatible with Sony cable lock. MUST purchase 2x tilta cable locks. Offbrand manfrotto plate that comes with it DOES NOT fit manfrotto tripod heads.

The cage feels nice and the accessories that comes in the kit are cool, however I have found a sort of major problem with the cage.Pros: look is good and having a nato rail on top is good to have tooFeel is excellentHandles are coolCons: no 3/8” screw hole slots only 1/4”.The problem I have found is that if you attach your camera to a strap via the right side only of the cage, the cage will actually disconnect from your camera at the base screw and the only thing that is left holding your camera to the plate and attachments is the tiny screw on the left side of the cage. I have never had this kind of issue with the smallrig cage for my a7riv (however that is a different camera than the one that the problem is occurring on) but it’s alarming that if there is some weight on just one side of the cage it can detach From the camera which is not good. My suggestion would be to keep any attachments and anything if weight on the left side of the cage and avoid using the right side except for maybe a handle.The cage doesn’t feel as rugged as My a7r4 smallrig cage. I have yet to try the smallrig cage for the a7m4 though.

I don’t know why there are so limited options for putting a cage in the a7siii, I feel like there should be more considering that it’s a camera made for professional video and so it should have many options to rig it up. But there are really only 3 cages worth buying, and this Tilta cage is the best option by far. It’s not as bulky as the SmallRig or others, and it has plenty of mounting points including a nato rail on the side for a handle. Loving this cage

Superb design. Very well thought out and engineered. Lightweight but extremely rigid. Adds very little to the overall footprint of the A7.Curved piece by hand grip and other subtle contours in the machining make this cage super comfortable to work with, not around. It makes my A7 even easier to use and handle. Just feels more secure with the cage. By design, the left side serves as a vertical grip or stabilizing grip.Many other details make this cage a sort of Swiss-Army cage. The NATO drilled holes, super precision labeling for mount holes…to the integrated tool with magnetic fastener.The overall jet black finish is very nice and smooth as well.I bought the compact NATO handle directly from Tilta and it brings the whole cage to another level of functionality and design.Can’t say enough good about this cage.
