I am an avid birder and am out in the field a lot. I was looking for a hat more protective from the sun than a ball cap and have wanted a Tilley hat for years, but didn’t buy one because they’re expensive. I wear a smaller size hat, though, than is more common so had trouble finding hats that fit well. Tilley hats come in exact sizes and have many sizes and styles that will fit almost any head, and their guarantee and warranty are outstanding, so I finally decided to get one and I’m so glad I did. The fit is great, they are guaranteed for life, and the workmanship is great, although they are no longer manufactured in Canada. They are worth every penny. I plan to get another one soon. A friend of mine who had skin cancer will only wear Tilley hats because they are so protective from the sun’s UV rays. Measure your head and get the right size and you won’t be disappointed.

This hat is just right for me. The brim is wide enough to cover my ears and eyes from the sun without being too wide. It fits well and is well made. Worth the money.

These are really nice hats that fit well and look great. In sun or rain they are the perfect hat! And they collapse to pack easily.
