One of the blades were loose. The handles themselves are 12inch. The blades add another 2 inches.handles are good size for grip.

i had this item for about 2 years and the only problem is the blades bent

Very disappointed with these. The blade is glued into the handle and one of them came loose only a few months after they were received and were barely used. The handles are hollow and feel cheap.
