Your cart is empty.Tibetan Tingshas are small Prayer Chimes used by Tibetan Buddhist Monks, Yoga Teachers, Holistic Health Practitioners, and Meditation Groups. They are traditionally used for ceremonial functions throughout the Himalayan regions of Nepal, Tibet, India and, Bhutan They are often used to start and end a Meditation, Yoga Class, or simply for Space Clearing to remove negative energy around you. They come in matched pair, held together by a leather cord. It can be played by tapping the rims together or by clapping them together like cymbals. They are made of a special alloy with the thickness and shape being important elements in creating the beautiful overtones. Tingshas have varying emblems and symbols embossed on the outside. This pair is embossed with two Tibetan Dragons.

I have been looking for the right cymbals for use in teaching yoga. These are perfect! I use them at the end of my classes. They are not a super high pitched sound, they have a little deeper sound to them, which is what I wanted. Came in a lovely little satchel, too! Great product and arrived quickly! I highly recommend these!

Pro: They sound great.Cons: Looks like they took photos of the first run, and whatever they're embossing it with has been worn down. The dragons aren't nearly as detailed, and they must have run out of the natural string to tie them together, because mine are tied together with a black nylon shoelace--they even have the natural string depicted on the box they came in. It'd be fine if they were just for me, but I bought them for crystal healing sessions with clients, and the whole shoelace thing makes them look cheap. Also, they're two different colors.

Love me Tibetan bells! They are so soothing to listen to. I use them when leading meditation, and for marking beginning and ending of Yoga classes. People love it!

These are truly higher quality then I could have ever expected for the price I paid. Dimensions were perfect for the circle pouch I had purchased previous to finding these. Heavy, not light weight at all, the design is very detailed which is not seen well in the picture.

Love it! I was a little wary to purchase this, having read some of the previous reviews, but it turned out awesome! The sound is great and I love the dragons(who doesn't love dragons?!!), it looks great! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the leather strap tore when I first used it out of the package. Fortunately the tear was just above the connection to the bell, and with enough slack left in the rest of the leather, I just knotted up the end and so far working well. I'd by it again, to use in my office, with patients.

For the price these were offered, I admittedly didn't expect much. I was just hoping for something nice to end Final Savasana in my yoga classes.So I was surprised when they came in the mail and I opened up the box to discover how heavy and real they felt! Not heavy enough to be cumbersome, but enough to know they were of good quality. The leather strap holding them together is good as well.I have used them for my own meditation as well as at the end of yoga classes and have asked for feedback from others on how they sound, and all has been positive; people love them! I have found endless different ways to ring them (by hitting them together different ways and at different parts) and all produce a slightly different but nonetheless beautiful, clear ringing sound :)

They have a great tone, and they do the job. Plus, they were very affordable. When they make contact, the sound "gongs" at a high pitch, then wavers and fades slowly. The dog doesn't seem to like them, but they are perfect to remind you to come back into the NOW and be present. A wonderful start to a meditation, or just to pop you out of mind chatter for a while.

Bought these for my husband's bday. Was so surprised when they arrived and I gently struck them together. Their sound quality is gorgeous. Pure, clean, beautiful. They're also beautifully made and quite weighty. My husband loves them, as do I and our dog :-)

The bells arrived as promised. They have a clear, bright sound that rings for a good while. I highly suggest ringing them while they dangle. i.e. - Hold only the leather strap, and swing the edges of the cymbals towards one another. You'll get a much brighter, cleaner sound that way, which rings for a longer duration. An excellent addition to the Tibetan singing bowls I ordered from another vendor.

The Tingsha / Manjira arrived on time and i am stunned by the sound quality it offers !Crisp clean sound which sustains for a really long time.The cast material is at least 5 mm thick and probably is the reason for its superior sound quality.Pitch is bit higher but i understand that it can vary from bell to bell.The leather string is durable and correct length, I have put a knot outside of each bell for easy handling.Anyone looking for a Tingsha or Manjira for meditation or Bhajans can buy these bells eyes closed.Suggestion : BUY !!
