I ordered this bobbin to rewind my wheels for my commercial embroidery machine, and all I had were issues with it either not winding on the wheels great or when embroidering designs the bobbin breaking constantly ruining a lot of my projects. I would not recommend this product.

I bought this Bobbin thread to use with my brother Innovis 2800 D. I'm not sure if the problem is me or the thread. My problem is that the bobbin thread will show on my embroidery on the top side and gives an uneven edge . I've tried with and without the darning plate. The price was low enough that I'm going to try it with regular sewing to see if that makes any difference. I am new to embroidery so I hesitate to blame the thread. Though it is 60 wt it feels more like fishing line. It looks completely different than Brother bobbin thread.Pros:PriceQuick shipping by sellerCons:My machine does not like it.November 2016 UPDATE -I upgraded to new Brother XV8500D - This machine loves this bobbin thread. A great product for a reasonable price.

This thread has worked beautifully in my Brothers PE150 embroidery machine bobbins. Previous owner of the machine did not think a 60wt thread would work in the bobbins, she had tried one and had poor results. Not sure what the difference was but I've experienced no problems with this Threadart thread. The price per yard is much cheaper than using the 40wt embroidery thread in the bobbin and the thinner thread results in less bulk on the stitched designs. I'm one for a bargain so was pleased at getting this thread in a 2 pack of BIG spools, should last a long time.

The first characteristic I look for in a high quality thread is the smoothness. There shouldn't be any visible fuzz. Secondly, I check the breakage. I want to be able to break it with my bare hands but not too easily. If it does not break, it can damage my machine. Too much fuzz creates lint which has the same effect. To prepare a balanced review I tried this for both my Brother PE 770 and for my Pfaff Creative Performance. In both cases one will need to either rest the cone on the table or use a cone holder or a coffee cup for that matter. I give it 10/10 for the Pfaff and 9/10 for the Brother. I docked 1 point for the Brother because it filled up just a little less than the pre-wound bobbins I normally use and to which I am comparing this product. It produced almost zero lint which is the key result I am looking for besides the ability to work with my machines. Many threads will do the job but using cheap thread is a little like running a car on poor quality, heavy-leaded gasoline. The engine will eventually break down. I want my machines to last and I want to be able to embroider both large (Pfaff) and tiny (Brother) items and everything in between (both) without error messages about checking the bobbin area.Bearing in mind that the Pfaff Creative Performance is the same as the Viking Ruby, and that Brother and BabyLock are essentially the same, I did not hesitate to give 5 stars since it is my belief that this will work well for most domestic machines.

I embroider daily and so far have witnessed no issues with this bobbin thread. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is there is no way to secure the thread other than to buy the nylon wrappers or to cut a notch at the bottom of the plastic. Fair enough given the price. I do think the seller should only show one in the picture, but I was aware there was only one. I just don't understand why sellers picture more quantities than what their ads say are going to ship. Mild annoyance, doesn't affect star rating.

I took a chance at ordering this bobbin thread without knowing anything about it. I stumbled upon a gem! I absolutely LOVE this thread!! It is so super soft when the project is stitched out. There is NO need for any coverings over the embroidered designs to prevent irritation. This thread is so absolutely soft that it needs nothing else. It is incredibly strong too. I have yet to have it break for any reason. When I bought my embroidery machine, the bobbin thread that came with it had issues. It would slough off or slide off the spool and create a thread puddle at the base of the spool. I have had absolutely no problems with this product at all. I've already purchased four cones of this thread, and will definitely come back for more when my stash gets a little bit low. There is a lot of thread on these cones. But, since it is so fine, it seems to last forever and when you wind the bobbin, you will realize that there is a whole project worth of thread on that one bobbin. The fine nature of the bobbin thread will allow you avoid frequent bobbin changes and will also cut down in the bulk of even very densely embroidered designs. The ladies at the sewing machine store told me that they had never seen such a fine (tiny) bobbin thread. As for the cone being too big, let me advise that you pick up a thread stand to sit beside your machine and just use that instead of transferring it to a different spool. I have all sorts of different spindles on my embroidery machine and still use my thread stand over any of those. It doesn't allow the thread to tangle or knot or cause any other problems. Then you can use any size or shape of spool or cone that you would like.I would absolutely buy this product again!

Bought a spool of this to use with a new Brother LB6800PRW Computerized Embroidery and Sewing Machine that I also bought. I was able to fill 60 bobbins with one spool. I have used 11 of the bobbins so far, and have had no thread breaks or jams in the machine due to this bobbin thread. The thread is glossy and smooth; it does not 'catch' the top thread, it glides so the back of the design looks as clean as the top.The picture shows 2 spools, but you get one, like the description says. Slightly misleading, but I knew exactly what I was getting. I would recommend this thread.
