At first was disappointed that packaging is "RESIDEO", no mention of Honeywell, could have bought exact item cheaper now knowing that. Thought item was made in USA, but is not....go south you corporate giant, go south to Mexico. Furnace fired right up, will have to see how long component life cycle is....pending.Note: Honeywell Home products will be sold by a new company – Resideo (Jan-2019)

It is a quick way to keep the heat on, especially in very cold weather. I always keep an extra one.

I replaced the thermocouple on my furnace about 5 years ago. The original one lasted over 10 years. The replacement lasted less than 5. When compared there is such a wide difference in the quality. The one on the right is the original tip made of solid copper. the one on the left is the replacement. It weighs half the original.I suppose 5 years is all you can expect from the life of these now!

We thought we had a gas heater that was failing because it seemed to be eating expensive thermocouples.I bought 3 of these as even a set of 3 cost less than one locally. When I got these about 2 months ago we had just started the heater for the season. It has been working fine since the install, never gone out, never failed.We are warm and happy! At the end of last season I needed to relight the pilot on the stove almost daily.These are brand name units not the generic locally available ones for more money.

This coupler was bought to have on hand as I replaced the broken one on our furnace with the same one I already had. This is great product, simple to install and works as it should.

We ordered this to replace our thermocouple on our gas fireplace only after having had a fireplace repairman come out to fix it and days later having the same problem. In lieu of paying the high expense to have a fireplace company come out again, my husband bought this and replaced the thermocouple and we haven't had a problem with our fireplace since and it's been over a year. Such a great bargain!!! Makes fireplace companies complete rip-offs in my humble opinion.
