Thermal Grizzly Duronaut

Extreme Durability & Performance for Your PC

Engineered for maximum cooling performance and long-term stability. Duronaut’s advanced silicone oil, aluminum microparticles, and zinc oxide nanoparticle blend ensures minimal pump-out effect and ultra-low thermal resistance. Includes the new TG Spatula Pro for optimal application.

Duronaut

Effortless Spreading for Optimum Cooling

Specially engineered for simple, precise application, this high-performance paste maintains a thin, uniform layer for exceptional heat transfer. The included spatula helps apply even pressure, minimizing mess and pump-out. Enjoy stable temperatures and extreme durability with minimal effort.

Duronaut

Precision with Premium Tools

Our thermal paste includes an applicator, a spatula, and the new TG Spatula to ensure a smooth, even layer every time. Experience hassle-free application, reduced mess, and optimized heat transfer—perfect for maintaining low temperatures and peak system performance.

  • The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and be free of grease before use. The thermal paste should be at least at room temperature when applied. It is important to spread the thermal paste very slowly during application.

  • With proper storage and packaging, the thermal paste can be used for at least 3 years without issues, and in many cases, significantly longer.

  • The typically theoretical thermal conductivity values vary greatly depending on the application, as important factors such as contact pressure, temperature, or surface cannot be uniformly accounted for.

  • Thermal Grizzly thermal paste packaging is specially coated on the inside to protect the syringe and its contents from UV radiation and other environmental influences. We recommend storing it in the original packaging.

Application of Thermal Grizzly Thermal Paste

Duronaut

Apply a small amount of thermal paste to the CPU

The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and free of grease before use. We recommend using TG Remove or TG Cleaning Wipes for cleaning. The thermal paste should be at least at room temperature when applied.

Duronaut

Spread the thermal paste

When applying, it is important to spread the thermal paste very slowly. For a typical Intel or AMD CPU, a single spreading motion should take about 3 seconds. The slower the movement, the easier it is to spread the paste evenly.

Using it on a custom loop with a 9950x. Used the thermal grizzly am5 contact sealer and offset adapter for best performance.

Temperatures are great for sure but this thermal laste is a nightmare to spread, it sticks to the provided spreaders and the paste itself is very thick so i whould not recommend it to any firtst time pc builder

So I have a older PC that I still use as movie server and it performs great for what I need it to do. Unfortunately the push clips for the heat sink broke years ago that secure it to the motherboard. It works fine with the fan being held down with external pressure but as I can't get the gap really tight between the CPU and the heat sink pipes so I need a thicker paste to transfer the heat which causes the paste dries out faster then normal. I have been doing this for 5+ years on this PC and it works fine assuming the paste I put on the CPU has good heat transfer properties. Eventually I'll upgrade the PC but it works for now so it's good enough. So I ordered and tried using Thermal Grizzly - Duronaut to see if it would work and so far so good. The old paste the first two photos was only 3 months old on February 1st before I wiped it down and applied the Duronaut. It was easy to apply but I do see why they say go slow because it wants to pull itself off the CPU when you spread it. Thankfully all the tools included helped. I ran the PC all day for a month straight and had zero issues. March 1st I pulled off the heat sink again to see how it looked with the Duronaut. It had great adhesion and I had to twist the heat sink a little just to break the seal and I really expected that the paste was going to be drier than it was and the last two pics I posted are what it looked like. It seems to be working better than even I expected. March 1st after the quick cleanup of the first Duronaut application I applied a new layer and pressed down the heat sink again. It's now been running for the week and thought it was time to review it. I know this is a unique situation and I can't even monitor the temps but I know when I start getting issues it is usually time to replace the paste but I'm hopeful this will last a while based on my recent testing. Recommended purchase!

very thicccc stuff and works like a champ. so far temp is sitting at 22C on idle which is crazy good. a little difficult to spread but that is due to how like and quality of a product it is.

This paste is quite thick, but smooth like peanut butter which means it will resist pump-out and last a long time without re-application, which is great for my laptop. Can never go wrong with Thermal Grizzly. My CPU (Tctl/Tdie) temp went from tapping 100C and holding 90C full load to 88C spike and holding around 77C. Mind you, I found 2 loose screws on the cooler, both around the CPU (that is 2 of 3 screws around the CPU itself)... That was definitely the cause of my instant spikes to 100C before fans had time to start. Oddly this did not cause throttling. On the GPU, temps weren't much lower, maybe 4C or so. Longevity is what I want.Victus 16Ryzen 7840HSRTX 4060If you want MUCH lower temps, use some Kryosheet! Stuff works wonders on my main PC. I wasn't sure how it would fare with the laptop cooler, sometimes they aren't machined super well.

I live in a cold and dry climate, which I know is worse-case for thermal compound application, but I had to give up on this one. It just wouldn’t adhere to the CPU IHS at all, despite 30 mins of calm and methodical attempts to keep trying to make it work. It sticks to the applicator and flakes off and makes a mess rather than spreading.

Temps for the cpu are hovering at 37 idle so I’d say the paste definitely is doing good work. Haven’t had a chance to stress test it. Application was a bit messy however, this is my first pc build so if you’re not experienced like I am. Be very patient when applying it.

Keeps temps on a 9800x3d cooled by a 240mm aio in the a4 h2o to below 80c. Difficult to apply, but not impossible. Should be long lasting. Would recommend.

Amazing results! I have been overclocking my GPU since years for max performance and by far this is the best non-metallic thermal paste I have ever used. The results were surprisingly fantastic.RESULTS:I used it on CPU and GPU for my laptop and the CPU temperatures went down by 30 deg Celsius and GPU by 35 deg Celsius. Before the application my laptop would turn up the fans pretty loud right after boot up. But now it is dramatically silent. Even when playing games like RDR2 the GPU temperature doesn't go above 65 deg Celsius. I overclocked my GPU to max (+205 core clock, +450 Mem clock) and the GPU remains below 65 deg C and CPU remains below 78 deg C.APPLICATION:It is more viscous and much harder to apply as it is more viscous but not too difficult. The trick is to not over do it while moving the spatula or the smooth surface starts to break up.It's worth the price. And I still have enough to reapply when it's needed.I would highly recommend this product.

This was a free product. However, I have no incentive to be biased towards or against this product. Also, I want to preface this with stating a few things of note. Thermal paste is only a part of the picture when it comes to keeping your CPU cool. You could have the best thermal paste in the world, but have a very cheap and inadequate air cooler, and the thermal paste wouldn't be allowed to do it's job properly. The final note is that to do a proper review I would need to break my computer down several times to see how the Thermal Grizzly Duronaut holds up compared to other thermal paste. I do not have the time to do that, nor am I willing to do that.On to what I can review. The packaging was nice and came with a card proving that the thermal paste was a Thermal Grizzly thermal paste. The company cares enough to not only include some pics on the different ways the thermal paste can be applied, but they include an applicator adapter and two different spatulas.I do want to note that, at a glance, it appears that there's not an English section. However, if you open the guide up fully (see second picture), there's an English section on the far left side. However, the title for that section is in a different language. This make it easy to skip over. It's just a small printing snafu and nothing to deduct any stars since there is an English section after all.Thermal Grizzly is a brand that has been around for a good while now and have been part of some record setting CPU overclocking moments. So, they are very knowledgeable and committed to producing thermal paste that is capable of reaching the limits of what thermal paste can do. I am definitely using this in my next computer build.
