- BEFORE the shot it aligns the non-shooting hand perpendicular to the ball and aligns the shooting elbow & hand under the ball.
- DURING the shot, it encourages guide hand pressure into the side of the ball for a sturdy straight edge and prompts proper release and follow through with the shooting hand. Ultimately promoting coordination between the guide hand and shooting hand.
- AFTER the shot, it allows the player to "pause" and independently validate their follow through and alignement of guide hand and shooting arm by checking The Ringer's visual markers.

My 13 year old is new to the game compared to the rest of the players and he really was struggling with his shot. Loves the game so much and working so hard to get there. Physical Therapy, strength training, running the track and private coaching helps him so much and has gotten him just about where he needs to be to make the middle school team... but he just couldn't get his shot down. He has worked with really great coaches and would get the shot right, but lose it the next day when practicing on his own. I am so glad I came across this simple, but extremely effective product. We watched the training videos and when he tried it out he was nailing it! His eyes lit up so bright when he was making shots and touching nothing but net. It's only been a couple days, but with continued use, I have a good feeling he will have a much better chance making the team this year.

For $50 the item should be a little more than a thin piece of flimsy plastic that cracks after 15 minutes of looseIt’s garbage

I literally made a better product with a freesbee and an old fingerless weight lifting glove.Real leather basketballs also do not work with this product. Even broken in basketballs only used on wood floors slide off the face.

Best thing about the Ringer is the ability to get immediate feedback on your shot. Coach JP has created a device that gives you the ability to form the muscle memory necessary to increase your shooting percentage. When you analyze the NBA’s best shooters, it’s like they trained with the Ringer

I am very happy with this purchase. The Ringer arrived quickly. The instructions were clear and concise. Most importantly it works as advertised in developing good form and technique to increase shot percentages. I definitely recommend this product to others.

What a piece of junk for what this gimmick cost. Doesn’t even come with written instructions, you have to get them on line. Save your money and don’t buy.

My 5th grade son's shot improved the first day using. I'm a real father, a coach and this is a real review. Definitely buy this product. Unbelievable results on day one. We did 100 bank shots close just to work on form. Then he started swishing from the elbow. Night and day difference.
