This is an excellent addition to my grail geopress. It will allow you to collect the water from the creek and…using a bandana…filter the sediment from the water before you put it thru your geopress…you can also use it to boil water….excellent product for the price…a must have for the grail …definitely 5 stars

Excellent fit and quality. Exactly why I expected from pathfinders.

The only dislike is the weight, but the weight is essential to the success of this unit. when paired with the Grayl, it’s unbeatable as a practical wilderness essential. Cry once-buy once, it’s true—but you will not be sorry. The lid fits just right, the butterfly handles are massively better than the fold-down-and-around ones from canteen-cup fame. They are stiff, but sturdy. When you place your lid in the bottom of a mill bank bag, and then put this cup in the bag, and your grayl in the cup— you can go almost anywhere.

Pros:Nests with the Grayl like a glove (also most 1 liter soda bottles).Feels sturdier than other nesting cups, even the other Pathfinder ones (butterfly handles are more rigid, wall-thickness feels like they may have gone up a gauge or so).Cons:No measurement marks on the inside of the cup.No holes for a bail handle and the lid has no grooves for a bail.
