I love these shorts for my kid. They’re soft cotton (but the stiff kind??) and very comfy. My kids love the colors (we have multiple), they look great, and the fabric is high quality. The only complaint I have is that my kids get dirty regularly, and the yellow pair stains. I don’t always pre-treat, so I suppose that’s my fault, too.

My two year old is the size of a 3 year old. Works great with an inside belt that is adjustable and then a belt on top of that works great for the "digger". Definitely worth it! They are really cute too! I got 2 compliments on his shorts the same day!
