Once in place, this is a great location for the jack plate switch. I did have to grind of some of the steering wheel hub to eliminate any rubbing.

DON'T GET TO EXCITED (which I did) when you open up the package. The is a easy install on a sea star hydraulic steering system. There are three screws on the helm for a bearing retainer under the steering wheel, which line up perfectly on the switch. I didn't have to change wiring plugged right in. This one of the and easiest installs you can do.THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BUY YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR POWER BOAT
