Mine worked good for awhile. Stopped working and I took it off my boat. Not sure where to send it to repair. Lots of money to throw away. No I would not recommend

Took a half a day with all the proper tools to install myself. You may want to consider having it professionally installed if you are not mechanically inclined. Really a good product, I use it trout fishing on the white river in Arkansas, and went from hitting bottom at 1.9 feet to .4 feet. Love it.

Product was easy-ish to install. I followed the directions exactly.I am happy with the function, but I am unhappy with the performance results.I have the system installed as the instructions state. My cavitation plate sits about 1.5 inches above the bottom of the boat. I now experience frequent ventilation, prop slip, and I've lost about 3-5mph.If you just need something to lift your motor, buy this.If you want to improve performance, I believe you need a jack plate.I tried this with my motor in every possible height setting with little to no improvements.I ended up buying a new prop and my results are slightly better.

Easy install, worked perfectly for small tiller on my gheenoe. All parts included except mounting bolts. Moves fast and smooth... just watch when you mount the engine and unit and there is very little clearance. Had a bolt nick the edge of the motor when all the way down, had to remove it and use only one bolt

I had some help to install it on the boat [ 15.6 ft . mini-toon ] and have got to try it out on the lake . So far it has performed as advertised . I still have to run the wires and will have to install a switch at the back to be able to put the motor support on and off . I was able to go into 1 ft of water using the tilt and worked great . I like it so far .

An amazing product! I have this on my 15'4" Gheenoe with a 9.8 Tohatsu. Lifts the motor quick and smooth and does the same lowering down. I literally will not ever own a small boat without having this or tilt and trim built in the motor. I love being able to come up to my fishing spot and cross some skinny water without having to turn around and lift the motor. Start raising it right before you get to your spot, kill the motor, and start poling and sight casting for reds.The install was easy. I'm handy, but I'm definitely not a mechanic. Once you go to the parts store and pick up whatever size bolts you need (since all transoms are different) it took me about 4 hours to grab the bolts and install and that included cutting into the rear bench seat of my Gheenoe, removing some foam, drilling a hole, and mounting the switch.
