This tubing is very nicely made. It would be nice if this type tubing were a little more flexible and could be cut straight. No real complaints though.

I have bought this same tubing from several different sources and 1 1/2 inch inside diameter hose should be able to fit properly on 1 1/2 outside diameter nipples but it doesn't. You can't even heat this up enough to make it fit, because it just burns through the extremely thin wall. I do not recommend this product. If you're expected great durability or great fit, do not waster your money. Go with flexible PVC that costs a lot more. You'll save the money you spent on the PVC in frustration and wasted time.

I purchased a Tetra DP4000 UV Pond Filter and a DHP4200 debris-handling pond pump. I also purchased the recommended Tetra 1.5 inch corrugated tubing. Sometime during the night, about 10 days after installation, the tubing failed and in the morning I had only about 2 inches of water remaining in the deepest well of my pond. 4000 gallons of water had sprayed out thru a split in the hose. My 20+ year old koi fish were very very distressed ... but all survived. I thought this was a 1-time occurrence, but exactly the same thing happened about 1 week later. Again, a split in the tubing drained the water out of my pond.I checked the reviews of Tetra tubing on Amazon, and discovered to my horror that failure of my Tetra tubing was NOT an isolated incident. Other reviewers had experienced exactly the same thing ... yet Tetra continue to sell this product. I was outraged.I wrote to Tetra Customer service 2 times to explain what had happened but got no response. I then called ... and a customer rep returned my call. Tetra's customer rep told me to buy replacement tubing at Home Depot and it would be a better product that Tetra's. They did not offer to reimburse me for the cost of the tubing or suggest any alternative Tetra product. In my 20+ years as a pond owner, I have always relied on the Tetra brand believing Tetra = quality. Apparently not. I am hugely disappointed with Tetra ... and until I find replacement tubing, I worry that my pond is at risk from another failure of the Tetra product. I stronly recommend that you do NOT purchase this Tetra tubing. It will disappoint and put you at high risk of losing your pond and fish.

The hose is flexible seems sturdy, but winter will tell the whole story. Whether or not it gets brittle and starts leaking.

I've had good luck with Tetra products, this pond tubing is very good, I've been using it for almost a year and it's still doing its job it's still flexible and no leaks so far I would recommend this product.

You wouldn't think there would be a problem with a new unused role of this but after hooking it up to my pond pump I noticed my pond bubbling in different areas at first I thought the tubing came off the pump but after looking there were actually several holes in the tubing and it was just water shooting out. Even though disappointed that I received something that was damaged I am looking at it with a positive attitude in that it is like having many aerators.

Got it. Easy to cut with a box knife. Fits the Tetra Pond Waterfall Filter, Ponds up to 1000 Gallons, Tetra Pond Bio-Active Pressure Filter BP1500-UV, Ponds up to 1500 Gallons, & Tetra Pond Debris-Handling Pump DHP3600, Ponds up to 3000 Gallons. Works way better than my non-flexible tubing. I also like how it's not see-through material or else it would have accumulated algae, which is what my last tubing did.

Great item that i bought for my Tetra PUV-2500 pond filter. The tubings were able to handle a large amount of water through them and provided an adequate, if not much more, waterfall system for the pond. As described, the item did not crinkle up, bend, or fold as to restrict the water flow. Would recommend to all.
