I bought it to cut off the Honda connector and use as a pigtail connector. Great for that; fairly long wires.

This is plug and play. It allowed me to place our trailer brake controller where we need it.

I have installed this cable on my 2021 Honda Pilot and aside the hustle to find where the OEM connector is located (behind the dash on top of the parking brake, you have to remove the side cover and the lower portion below the steering column to access the connector easily) The price worth as the pigtail for the brake controller would cost around 20 bucks and aside that you will have to solder wires and what not, and this harness is plug and play and well build.

Plugin solution for connecting my brake controller. Just right length to reach front of center console below the radio without any modifications. GREAT buy.

Plug & play harness, perfect fit . It's not easy to see the connector under the dash of the PASSPORT (like they show in the Teconsha installation video). I had to remove the lower dash cover(under the steering) , the connector was on the left side of the steering.

Did make the install of my brake controller very straight forward. The adapter harness is plenty long. Both plugs worked as expected. That said, if I had to do it again, I would use the factory harness instead. The factory harness is the correct gauge of wire. Plus, it is easier to cut holes for wires than it is for a plug. The pain of crimping or soldering is probably worth it.

Installed on a 2014 Honda Pilot which had the hitch and trailer socket wiring already installed at the factory. This was long enough I was able to install the controller in the little cubby in the dash to the right of the gear selector. I just used a dremell with a 90 degree head on it and a cone shaped grinding wheel to make a hole in the top back of the cubby hole big enough for the connector to go through. I was able to mount the controller by screwing through the top of the cubby hole with short screws. Made a fine finish and easy project. I took the trim off that goes behind the gear selector to make the install easier, but it could probably be done without removing it. I paired it with the Tekonsha 90160 Primus IQ Electronic Brake Control.

Installed the Tekonsha brake controller without issue in my 2018 Honda Ridgeline using this wiring harness. Was long enough to reach the center console (just) from the Honda OEM connector located under the dash. I located mine in front of the console gear selector at the bottom of the central dash console. Note the OEM connector is located above where your left foot would rest when driving not above the brake pedal as indicated in the instructions.
