Simply plug the brake control end of the wiring harness into the back of the brake control and the vehicle end into the automobile's port. Brake controls that utilize the 2-plug style of wiring harness will be identified with the Plug & Play logo.

Fit perfectly and is long enough that it gave me options on where to mount the trailer brake. Fit perfect on my 2017 ram 1500 4x4, and instantly worked, no need to flash the computer like with the oem.

Bought this so I could install a break controller in my 2017 ram pickup. I would’ve like to us the in dash controller but with the extra expense of having to get it programmed to the truck this was a quick and cheaper option. It’s a decent length so you have options when mounting the brake controller

This product connects the Tekonsha controller (works with several) to the factory ready harness connector, assuming its installed.Good news:perfect fitmakes the job so much neater and easierTech support available, knowledgeable, and helpful. But why did i need to call them for basics?Bad news:not one word of instructions, not even a URL to instructionsno hint as to where the mysterious connector is hidden, even though this is a custom part for new RAMsIt seems they could make life easier and save money by including basic instructions and hints, and therefore avoid my double checking call to tech support.Note this was barely searchable on Amazon's site since the "-p" is used inconsistently and amazon does nto index on both with and without.G

Bought for my brake controller and its pretty self explainitory. Easy to install. Cannot rate tech support since didn't need them nor can I rate the instruction quality since I didnt have a need for that either.
