This came with 3/4 charge, seems to be holding a charge very well. Perfect fit, as expected, and time will tell if it lasts, but it’s a great price even if it has a limited lifespan, I think. There are several options for this replacement, but this company seems pretty solid

I got this super excited to use it for my psp 3000 model. It fit perfectly and I put it immediately to charge hoping to be able to unplug it and see the battery information and see how long the battery would last compared to my last original battery. As soon as I unplugged my psp charger, my psp turned off. The battery did not hold a charge at all no matter how many times I tried or left it charging. I do not know if I just got a defective product or if it just simply doesnt work for my.psp model at all. Do not recommend

I just got it today, popped it into my PSP 2001, and, out of the box it seemed to have about a half charge, I charged it with the standard charger, and it filled up nicely. I loaded up a game and checked the timer, and it seemed like the battery was going to last over 7 hours, at max brightness. Not bad.Now to fix that broken "L" Button, and my little guy will be back to ship shape.I feel like I should be getting paid for such a glowing review. But I guess getting a box with a working battery in it is payment enough.Hopefully this thing will stay as good as new for years.Oh and also, it wasn't too difficult installing it. I did just pop it in and put the battery cover back on, and noticed it wasn't really going on right. So I checked the battery, and noticed I needed to give it a nice little "push" to get it to snap into place. So be a bit forceful installing it and it'll fit. After that the back cover pops right on as it should.
