Out of the box there were visible casting flaw so deep, you could see light shine through the part. And against my better judgement I attempted to install the clamp on some 2/0 welding cable - thinking maybe it will still work. The clamp immediately cracked when hand-tightening the setscrews using the provided mini hex-wrench. I don't normally leave negative feedback, but the manufacturing quality control with this clamp is extremely lacking. The person at the factory who took the time to finish-machine & package this casting was either vision-impaired or couldn't care less about his quality of work. Save your money & pass on this purchase.

The original product came with a lifeless spring clamp that I did not find very useful. I replaced it with this clamp and it not only worked it also improved the welder by delivering higher power - due to better groundGood price performance you should definitely put this on your Holiday list plus by the way it improves safety and reduces the risk of actually killing your self - so it is easy to convince your wife or mummy to buy it 4 you
