This regulator works fine, but the lens is permanently fogged by lacquer thinner. Since cleanup of the sprayer after using automotive paint is almost always done with lacquer thinner, this device is not suitable.

Over the years, I occasionally need to do some painting on my homebuilt plane. Usually not big jobs, but I do want to make it right. I have slowly been accumulating tome of the little things that help provide a professional outcome. Having a real regulator right at the gun is one of these.It's a little big, but it does the trick and is way better than using the regulator on the compressor and those cheap little valves they sell with some paint guns.
