Steps for Replacing Filter Element
Step 1
- Rotate to the Left to Remove the Protective Case and Filter Cup.
Step 2
- Rotate to the Left to Remove the 5 Micron Cartridge for Replacement.
Step 3
- Replace it with the New Filter Element.
Step 4
- Install the Protective Case and Filter Cup Back into Place.

I ordered the "TAILONZ PNEUMATIC 0-150PSI 1/4 Inch NPT Aluminum Alloy Air Filter, Regulating + Filtering + Lubrication, Particulate Filter, Coalescing Filter, Desiccant Dryer and Air Regulator (Manual Drainage)"The product name is inaccurate, but the product description has the correct information of what the product is. The item is only an air particulate filter, regulator, and lubricator, it does not have a coalescing filter or desiccant dryer. The only documentation about the item is in the product description section of the products listing, however it does contain enough information to use and maintain it.As an air filter, regulator, and lubricator it functions properly and mists oil into the air lines to keep your pneumatic tools lubricated.The pressure gauge was only loosely fitting before there were interference issues with the air filter housing and the pressure gauge. To remedy that I used what would otherwise be an excessive amount of the included teflon tape to wrap it so it would tighten up much sooner, a pneumatic threadlocker glue/sealant might be better.The other fittings were installed without issue. The quick connect was initially leaky but it had some hidden threads that just needed to be tightened back up.Opening the air filter and lubricator housings was straight forward, although they were screwed on super tight.The air filter was easy to change, but was also on super tight, the preinstalled one had some slight damage to it.Both the air pressure, and the oil lubrication are easy to adjust, with clear markings for adjustments.

A little more plastic than I would like, but good for the price. I am using this one in my garage on my small compressor and wanted more control over my air than from just the compressor. This gives me a nice mounting point to get to my air for my small projects whenever I need it. Just set it up, so not sure about the separation, but the pressure adjustment seems adequate.

I've installed this TAILONZ PNEUMATIC Air Filter assembly. It is so nice to have dry, filtered air and a sure way to regulate hose pressure. I do a lot of paint and powder coating. Especially when spraying powder, the regulator has improved how the material atomizes and dispenses over the Item that is being coated. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or need something robust for more serious tasks, this is a must-have.The combination of regulating, filtering, and lubrication in one unit makes it super convenient. The manual drainage feature is handy. I live in the wet Pacific Northwest so I drain it about ever 2-3 days. It allows me to easily maintain the system without much hassle. T he particulate filter and coalescing filter work together to keep the air clean and dry, which is crucial for the longevity of my tools and quality of the coatings I use.The build quality is excellent. The aluminum body is solid and durable. I'm sure it will last a very long time. I am not impressed with the red coating applied by the factory. It's a bit thin and has a lot of inclusions in it. Eventually, I plan to strip the factory coating and apply new powder coat. Its a little thing and doesn't effect performance at all. Just something I thought I'd mention in full disclosure. Again, no big deal. I sort of tweak of these things and can get more picky that I should. But it's a really well built air regulating/filtering assembly and I'm confident it will last a very long time. It was easy to install. I mounted to my compressor frame, and it integrated seamlessly into my existing system.Overall, I'm thrilled with this setup. It's a top-quality piece of equipment that's improved my work. If you're in the market for a comprehensive air filter system, I highly recommend this one. You won't be disappointed!
