Item won't hold much weight but if your NV goggles aren't too heavy they hold pretty well. I haven't put it through the battle but playing around with it at home it works good. Not bad for the price!

The helmet latch does not hold on any type of helmet

you cant even mount this it has zero support and its shaking all over the place. horrible product

I’m building a spare helmet for my wife. Instead of paying for a Wilcox mount for a digital nvg setup, I went with this budget mount. My thoughts:Pros:- dovetail mount fit in with ease.- folds down and adjusts easilyCons:- all plastic / nylon- soooo much play in the unit….. constantly wobbles- makes a squeaky sound when folding downOverall I’d pass on this mount. It’s too much plastic and the play on the unit is awful. I don’t even think this is suitable for cheap digital nvg.
