Beautiful ,Wasn’t hard to figure out but thought it was strange that no instructions came along with it.

The glass was broken out of the first I received, but they were quick in sending me out a replacement and I appreciate that!It’s not hard to put together at all, has a good running time and its heat output actually surprised me! I had figured it wouldn’t likely heat much behind those glass panels, that it was more just for show…but, it does indeed create heat. It also sets a nice tabletop ambiance…as well as an area to burn a few marshmallows among friends.It’s very attractive, gives off some warmth and can even be used for some mild cooking…like roasted marshmallows, if you want. It’s an ideal size for a tabletop and functions in a few capacities—making it a true win!

This is a really great little fire feature. It's great for atmosphere and a little warmth. It won't heat your house, but it's cozy and creates a lovely ambiance.Unfortunately, there are some issues worth knowing about, so I could not give it a five-star rating. I was tempted to knock it down to three, but the unit itself really works well. So I'm suggesting some improvements that would make it better.What's great?- Burns simple rubbing alcohol from the drug store! Cost effective and easy to get started.- Just the right size for a tabletop: small enough but not too small.- Looks substantial, not flimsy.- Real fire, real heat.- Burns about an hour on a full "tank" of alcohol.- Burns out on its own when the fuel is gone.- The fire stamper is great if you don't want to keep it going.- Amazingly, the wick doesn't turn black. Burns clean.Needs more testing:- It did not get too hot underneath where it comes into contact with a surface, at least not in the 15 minutes of my initial test burn. Longer times might allow more heat to build up.What's concerning?- There are NO instructions, not even safety instructions! For an item as dangerous as this -- real fire -- there should be some warning messages about using around children, pets, etc., not leaving it unattended, and so forth. The flyer that comes with it is just an advertisement. Common sense is not so common, and the company should be more concerned about getting sued.- As a result, I guessed or researched everything. What fuel can I use? (I googled to find that rubbing alcohol would work.) Do I literally just pour alcohol into the reservoir? Do I need to make sure the whole wick gets wet while pouring, or will it absorb enough on its own? Is the glass tempered or do I need to be worried about it getting too hot? (That should be a no brainer, but at this point I was worried about the quality.) How far down are the glass pieces supposed to go? How hard can I push them? How fragile are they? (I wore gloves and they were quite sturdy)- Hard to put the glass pieces into place, for fear they would break or scratch against the metal clips, which were VERY tight one some sides, but not on others. I used a flathead screwdriver to adjust some of the metal tabs, but they have to be snug so they don't flop.- The metal edges are sharp and could cut your fingers if you're not careful. The bottom of the unit is open, so all of the metal edges are exposed.- There isn't really a convenient way to pick it up without spilling it, as the sides are very smooth and potentially slippery. I would suggest setting it on a baking sheet or silicone mat to make lifting easier, especially if there's a need to move it while it's hot.My suggestions to the manufacturer would be- Write up step by step instructions (including what fuels can and cannot be used) and safety precautions and include them in the box.- Add a matching silicone base to the unit that fits snugly and has a 1/4" lip about 1/2" up from the bottom to make it easier to handle.- Add a bit of felt to each metal prong to help the glass slide in easier, yet still hold snugly.

Beautiful tabletop fireplace. I added my own green rocks also from Amazon but I would definitely buy again.

Packaged very well. Would like to have a little more decorative rocks. It didn’t come with instructions for use. Only have warnings. All in all I’m happy with it. Looks good.

This thing is absolutely beautiful. I’m using 91% alcohol from Walmart and it burned really well. Put off heat that I wasn’t expecting but isn’t ideal for actually staying warm. I didn’t need the instructions to put it together either, it was pretty clear and took just seconds to slide the tray and glass in. The glass does make it feel a lot safer and I did of course smell the alcohol as it burned but imo that’s SO much better than wood (the wandering after-smell of wood fires literally makes me sick)
