Love the Spark. I got mine in a 7 tip opening. The Syos ligatures are a bit awkward to me, because they are a rigid loop of plastic. Make sure to hold your reed tightly before sliding the lig in place. I may get another Rovner lig to use.The sound is bright and very rock n roll, which is what I was going for. I transitioned from a metal Otto 9* NY to this 7, and the adjustment wasn’t too rough.Lastly, for the price, this should come with a cap. Regular caps are made to accommodate ligatures and come with. They want $15 for the tip cap, and if you order it from Syos in France, the shipping’s another $7.
