I love these socks so much that I reordered more on Amazon to replace another brand that didn't feel comfortable. These fit snugly enough that there are not any seams or wrinkles that could cause chaffing but they are not squeezing my feet into discomfort either. They fit great.The problem though is that when I ordered my socks, the package arrived and had a strong scent of laundry detergent. I opened the socks and the smell of laundry detergent was overwhelming. I washed the socks and the smell went away. I decided to buy a 3-pack of these socks from the manufacturer instead of using Amazon. The socks came direct from the factory with the normal factory smell that you get from any old pack of socks. These socks come packaged where there are no plastics ties or anything that would have to be broken or unsealed for someone to wear. They are just folded over the cardboard holder. This leads me to believe someone possibly ordered socks to test them out, washed them and returned them to Amazon who then sold the used socks to me as if they were new. Why else would they smell like laundry detergent? They didn't get soap suds when they were wet so I doubt detergent was spilled on them. I only had these socks in my package so they had to have been washed by someone before Amazon sold them to me.So great socks, but be careful because Amazon might send you used socks.

I have been using these socks for running for about 8 years now. They are very durable (I actually still have the pair that I have bought 8 years ago) but it only now started to thin out in places, so I needed new ones.They are very comfortable (just the right amount of tightness and thickness) and wick the moisture very well.I have other socks that I use for shorter runs at times, but these are my go-to socks for half-marathon events.

The Swiftwick performance cycling sock is an excellent product. I like the way it hugs and supports my arch in the foot. The only negative is that it is very tight fitting and at times difficult to put on. Overall, I highly recommend these socks. I now have 8 pair.

Best socks for running. The wick away fabric of these socks with the compression and ankle height have made these my preferred socks for running. I have worn them on 6 mile runs as well as a full marathon, I have never had blistering wearing these socks, they have been great and they wear well, I still have the first pair I bought. I have been purchasing them since 2013 and these are the only socks I wear to run or days of lots of walking. I will even wear them inside of my boots with leggings just because they make my feet feel great. They provide a great fit, like hugs for my feet. Love them!

On the advise of a friend I decided to try a pair of Swiftwick socks to see if they would make a difference. These are the best socks I have ever worn PERIOD !! They make my shoes fit better, keep my feet dry and cool not to mention NO blisters. The best thing about these socks is that they DO NOT bunch up in your shoes giving you a preferred fit and comfort. These socks cost more than regular socks but I think they are worth every penny !! I have ordered a pair of the 4 inch and can't wait to give them a try also. You can't go wrong with these socks plus as an added bonus .... THEY ARE MADE IN THE USA !!! Need I say more !

There's plenty of cycling socks out there that looks and feels great in hundreds of colors and patterns to match everybody's style. The problem is they eventually wear out and start loosing their fit and elasticity and fade but these socks don't fade and they maintain their compression fit. They cost a bit more but they last a long, long time (I haven't wore any out yet). I bought these to keep my feet warm for cold weather but they also keep my feet cool in the Texas heat. I use these socks for hiking and running also and my feet stays happy.

I have used these for trail racing and running in almost every condition imaginable, and they just seem to last forever. They are a thin sock with no padding and fairly strong compression.Other runners have told me that they may seem to run a size small, and I tend to agree although I have always liked the stronger compression. My feet are regular width and somewhat low volume.UPDATE 6/2015Still the best socks ever made! I have all of my original pairs and not so much as a single loose thread. Since a running injury now has me riding a bike instead, I have had to start buying the 4" version.At some point I believe that Swiftwick may have changed the sizing slightly and they also changed the color of the letter on the bottom that shows the size. The socks now run true to size.
