These are simply wonderful and what a difference.Changed the bulky Sure Grip Boardwalk outdoor rubber ones to these sweethearts.A nice glide while skating and slick like ice. So, be careful until you get use to them.Skates also felt lighter with these Sure Grip Royal Wheels.

I usually don't like to rate things so low... However as a comparison to Sure Grip Phenolic wheels ... The Sure Grip Royals were a total disappointment. In comparison to the Sure Grip Fame wheels... They are roughly the same. So for me, this was a waste of money. However, if I were to try them on skate park surface or linoleum flooring, I might have a different opinion. But on wood flooring, these wheels gripped too much for my liking. I had a better skate today using the Sure Grip Ice wheels.

If you're serious about skating but can't upgrade your skates, the next best thing is to upgrade your wheels (and trucks) to get better. After I upgraded my skates to a beginner-intermediate quad, I bought these to switch outdoor wheels for indoor. These wheels are described as good for competitive artistic skating - but missed the part about showing beginners no mercy. 101As (57mm) are no joke on a wooden rink floor ... these are fast, they're smooth, and they will teach a beginner the hard way about stopping, slowing down, and proper footing! My butt-to-floor ratio went up high until I adapted to this vast improvement over my previous indoor wheels - and now I love how fast I roll and spin with the Royals. Definitely recommend!
