this part will not seal door. Installed, door heat leaks out, removed and reinstalled, still does not seal, removed, turned gasket around and installed opposide to what was originally installed, still leaks. Not a good substiture for a Whirlpool gasket. Would not buy again.

I put off calling a handyman for months because I felt like I should be able to do this and save more than a few bucks. But, it was difficult to find the number I needed and what if I couldn't do it?? I finally ordered this and I had it on was warming up the oven to test it within 15 minutes! It works great and was super easy for this 70 yr old woman to install.

I have a compatible Whirlpool oven - the product was easy to install but does not hold securely when installed. Also, not able to push the ends through the slim opening at bottom of whirlpool oven. The metal parts are flimsy. The original part was more substantial and held in place much better than this replacement.
