I have two senior male parakeets and like to get them toys that are fun and interactive but that are also safe and interesting, and this is a great, safe chew toy for their little old beaks. And as all bird lovers know, busy beaks are happy beaks!

My 14 year old cockatiel hasn't really used this toy yet, but i myself personally like it. I'll give it time and see. It's a good toy though, nice quality, I think once i get it at a location in his cage that's ideal for him he'll use it until he breaks it. I'd still recommend this toy based on the fact that i personally it. I'm sure a bird smaller than a cockatiel would find it more fascinating than my old bird. I like the addition of it for his cage though.

My Polly was scared of it when I first put it in the cage. Until her wing hit the bell. Then she loves it. It is durable, she pulls on the hanging strings and plays with it.

I rescued a cockatiel who found me and he needed some toys while he was here between homes. He absolutely loved this toy and was entertained for hours! This toy is bright in color, and is sure to make your bird very happy. I highly recommend this toy.

Our little budgie has gone through 4 or these so far in the past 2 years. It's his favorite toy! Not only does he love the foraging paper but he rings the bell constantly and even cuddles with it.

Used for Conures and Budgies. Good quality toy and can be stuffed with millet spray, fruit, or seeds. If you have birds that are known to stick their faces in places they shouldn't (such as tubes, bins, cups, etc.) remove the bellβif they try to go for the ringer inside they may hurt themselves. Otherwise perfect!

Smaller than expected and looks cheap, not worth the price.

It's definitely a bit...smaller than I imagined, but it's only for a budgie so it ended up being the perfect size for him. He loves plastic beads and has been going at them nonstop--the toy is durable enough to handle a very determined budgie, at least.I did notice a pretty strong smell when I first pulled the toy out of its plastic. I left it to air out overnight just in case, and the smell was fairly faded the next day.

My cockatiel loved this toy from the minute he saw it. I hung it outside his cage to allow him to get used to it, as usual, and unlike any of the other toys I have tried, he climbed over to the side of the cage where it hung and started playing with it from inside the cage. I moved it inside to let him have at it, and within 10 minutes I heard a clatter as it hit the floor of the cage. He had managed to detach it from the hanging ring. I replaced it, and it happened again almost immediately. This time it came partially apart, losing a bead. It seems that the toy is held together with a stretchy plastic tube-like lanyard, and its bright yellow color is irresistible to my bird. He was able to pick at the knot until it came untied. I put it back together, tying the knot multiple times to make it more secure, and he had it apart again in minutes, this time having severed the yellow lanyard, so that it is too short to put back together. I gave it three stars for appeal; he clearly loved it, but I can't buy a new toy for each day of the week. Maybe other birds won't break it so quickly. I am going to try to use another type of string to put it back together and see if I can't get some more use out of it. It's a shame, I wish it had held up better.

I recently bought this for our Budgie, who is 6 months old and loves to rip up his sandtrayand tries to destroy everything in his cage!! He took to it more or less straightawayand has helped to calm him down ie.chewing other things. I would highly recommend thisproduct to any other Budgie owners experiencing similar problems.
