Wow all the reviews about fast and powerful are true. I'm an autobody tech. I needed a long reach cutoff wheel tool with power to get the job done fast. I put a cutoff wheel arbor on the die grinder and went to town cutting off welds on box truck lift deck there was no room for a angle grinder or regular cut off tool. This tool was loud wear muffs and had power only my mac tools have. For less then halet the cost to one power full tool. Tool was made in Taiwan. Most of the tools from that country are quite good. Must break in tool first. I didn't and the rotor find or blade got jam twice. I wiggled the shaft back and forth gentle to put the blade back. I ran the die grinder about 5 minutes with more air oil free running. I had no more jamms. That never happen to me before with any air tool. So I give 5 stars for power very well made. This tool will last a long time

Purchase a brass metering valve with this and you are set. Smooth and powerful motor that won't stall like cheaper grinders.

Expect to make a mess with this thing. Big compressor is a must, faceshield and probably safety goggles is highly recommended, thick gloves highly recommended, having plenty of bits is also very handy. With being a high speed, high torque grinder it takes alot of material off, both the work piece and the bits even with using a wax. I used this a couple times to grind out welds on 1" steel and I had to wear a full chem suit to shield myself from metal shards, had a face shield and still got metal under it. Like any power tool oil it daily. A nice whip cord is useful too. Trying to use a 3/8" air line hookup just adds to the likelihood of it jumping out of your hands while grinding.

Has plenty of power and reach is nice. Exhaust is very high pitch. They could use a better muffler.

Can't beat the price for cleaning buildup and polishing dies. It only does one thing and that it does very well - full throttle, full power. There is no flow or speed adjustment and controlling by not pressing trigger down all the way? I never have luck with that. If you need less torque, do yourself a favor and get an extra mini die grinder. This one is too big and too heavy (2 3/4 lbs) to use one-handed - I use it with one hand on trigger, other hand on extension to guide it. There is no gimmicks just power. The exhaust is loud, that is what ear plugs are for, not a muffler.I would not recommend this grinder at home in the garage. You will want a huge compressor for it. Listed as 5.3 cfm on average? Sure, maybe when it is idling without load. Suntech wisely does not mention air consumption with full load - if you have to ask, your compressor is probably too small. If you are familiar with much more expensive industrial grinders - it does exactly the same as a extended shaft Ingersoll Rand minus the flow adjustment. It is a pain when you use the IR and accidentally bump the adjustment during use.
