This Item arrived intact and not leaking, which surprised me since the packaging seemed a little lightweight for such a heavy item.It's linseed oil, and applies and performs exactly as it's supposed to. I am trying for an eco-friendly protectant for an outdoor walking bridge, so I first charred the wood, then dipped the planks in a tub of this linseed oil. Very satisfying. I will update the review after I see how it looks and changes over time.Just be careful when applying. All my dogs loved this stuff and lapped it up off the wet boards. They had the runs for the next two days.

I did not like the plastic packaging but understand metal is much heavier. With the way things are thrown around in shipping, surprised it didn't tear or leak, there was no protection for it.

It is what it says , mix 1/2 &1/2 with solvent,apply to wood . When dry cover with one coat of paint. Especialy if making wood floor for shed,treat all sides,let dry , give a coat of oil only on top, it lasts for years. Do same if burying the wood in soil.

Where the deck is dried out and needs protection from the sun and weather it works real well soaks into the wood and brings it back to life works well on a paint sprayer to put down a film where you need it quick and easy that way
