Building custom electric scooter. Needed disc brake for 20" hub motor with extra long steerer tube. Fork feels solid, finish was unblemished, and it fit perfect.

I agree with "the Mechanic" . I have a Sun Seeker X3-SX and I didn't like the 16" front wheel so I took a chance. Had to swap the bottom bearing race. It was a press fit so torched to heat it and then I used a utility knive blade pounded in under the race to start it moving. Finished it with a chisel. It only as to move a short distance and then the tube is smaller and it slips off. I used a hydraulic shop press to get it on the new fork. I cut the new fork to match the old one with a cutoff saw. Some trimming, chamfering, and the installed it on the trike. A new tire/wheel and it was back in business. The old rim brakes work fine. I may put an e-wheel on and switch to disk brakes then. So, the trike rides well, I don't have to carry 16" and 20" tires/tubes, I am happy with it. I have done other mods on this trike, NuVinci N360 hub, 2 wheel drive and brakes in the back, lighting, etc. Now to ride.

This item is a 20" (406) fork for Sun recumbents. I have a SUN X1 with a 20" rear and 16" front, but wanted to convert it to a 20" front. A 20" is more efficient rolling, puts the bicycle in a more aerodynamic position, and the tires are easier to find. I believe this fork would fit the EZ racer models as well, but check the measurements first. The old fork was removed, had to transfer the bearing race and brakes onto the new forks. The bearing race is a press fit so it is very difficult to remove, I used a butane torch to heat the race then tapped it from the fork with a chisel. Put a 20" wheel and tire on the fork and it was ready to ride, about a 1-2 hour job. The bike rides much better now, is more aerodynamic, and only have to keep one size spare inner tube now.
