Prior to purchasing I read the reviews and was a bit skeptical about the quality of same.I'm a bit of a prepper guy and wanted to purchase another just in case, to carry along/keep in my biking bag.Then came the day when my existing brake strap broke on the way to the local laundromat.So, I installed this little honey same day and I got to say I was delighted with how thick this aluminum strap was and not having to deal with making a rubber insulator to prevent scratching the paint.It had fit my Fito Modena Beach Cruiser perfectly. While the the Allen screw and locknut was suitable; I would recommend one to utilize a stainless-steel flat washer of a slightly larger size, for safety of course.I would definitely recommend this to anyone riding a beach cruiser bicycle.

This coaster bracket is a much better alternative to a standard bracket. Heavier duty. We will see how long this one lasts to the corrosive environment I love it!

I'm not sure what diameter chain stay this strap I'd supposed to fit. It is way too big for the steel stay on my Surly. It could have wrapped around it twice.

High quality coaster brake strap, much better and sturdier than any of my previous brake arm straps.

Hey, it fits, holds to coaster brake arm, and comes with a nice looking machine bolt & nut.Unfortunately, the real selling feature of this item is that it should protect your chain stay and look better than the normal metal strape. The process of tightening it down so the brake arm doesn't wiggle cuts the vinyl. You end up with a loose piece that has to be repositioned every time to pop the wheel off for any reason, plus the same cheap-looking metal strape.
