Replaced stock seat post lever clamp with this clamp with good results, so far. If the clamp does not clamp with enough force, I will use a Dremel Tool to remove the inside lip and lower the clamp on the frame, then use the stock lever clamp to secure the seat post.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Feels durable enough I don't anticipate needing to replace it for a few years, if ever.

I bought this to improve the point of contact my rack has onto my bike frame. The smaller size, 28.6mm, perfectly fit into my seat post with some grease and light prying to open the clamp and slide it into place. Although my seat post is around 3mm smaller, this clamp would not slide on easily, as I mentioned I only needed to open it slightly for it to shimmy into place. I preferred this as it meant it would be secure even if the tightening screw came loose for whatever reason. The material felt pretty hefty and my screws from my rack screwed in perfectly and tightly to this clamp.

This seat collar fit well and have the option to mount a rear rack on my mountain bike that does not have upper frame bosses. I have not used heavy loads over rough roads so I can’t comment on long term durability.

As others have said, note that this is designed to REPLACE your clamp (not attach in addition to it). So you'll need to carefully measure the frame diameter (not the seat post itself) to determine sizing.That said, it went on as easily as I could expect and works really well to attach a bike rack that would otherwise not be attachable. However, don't overtighten the screws--we unintentionally stripped the aluminum threads for the seat post screw (but I wouldn't blame the product for it). I was able to purchase a socket cap screw to replace it (I bought a longer one and added a lock nut and washer to the other side just to be safe).

Fits well on bicycle seat frame which was about 35.6mm in diameter.Would be excellent if they had tool free design.

Worked very well, exactly what I needed to add a couple bolt mounting points to attach a rear rack to my bicycle. Once I completely loosened the clamping screw, I initially had difficulty getting it on the seat tube, but after I gently spread the two ends apart, it slid right on, perfect fit. This seat clamp has a small lip on the ID near the top that helps keep the clamp from slipping too far down the seat tube; that lip should rest on the very top of the seat tube. When installing, make sure not to force the small lip over the seat tube diameter. This should fit perfectly if you measure the OD of your seat tube (shown with the red arrow in my photo) and match that measurement to the Clamp ID you order.

Worked well on my mountain bike which has no seat stay mounts for a rear rack. Correct fit and resulted in a very solid rack installation. Excellent value -- far better results than any option using padded clamps for about the same price. Highly recommended if your bike has the necessary threaded holes just above the rear axle for the bottom side rack attachment (mine does). I still have this clamp on my bike, but I've since pulled off the rack. Not because there was any problem with the rack or its installation -- it was solid for the duration -- but because I learned I'm one of those that prefer to carry stuff in a backpack than on a rear rack. And if I ever need, I can re-install my rear rack in just a few minutes.
