Cockatiels are very cheerful, active and playful as pets and giving them the right diet is not only essential to keep them healthy but also for them to be at a happy disposition at all times. As pet owners, we all know that this is also beneficial for us because a cheerful bird brings so much joy in our lives.
A companion parrot’s daily diet normally includes seeds, chopped fruits, pellets, greens, soft bread and vegetables. Although healthy enough, aforementioned list is generally calcium-deficient. Cuttlefish bone by SunGrow is a good supplement in providing natural calcium and minerals for your cockatoos. This vitamin helps in having good bone formation and blood clotting.
Each of the 4 Cuttlebones are about 6-7” long. It has an elegant slender shape, lightweight, and chalky. Cuttlebone is the inner shell of the cuttlefish and is not really a bone. It has a grainy texture that when nibbled, it keeps the bird’s beaks trim and sharp. It is also helpful in wearing down overgrown beaks. The product is pet-safe even for the female cockatiels who are laying eggs. They need this calcium supplement more in order to produce healthy eggs.

These were very large and my parakeets will have a party with them. Much nicer than ones I have purchased at store. Looked fresh!!! If you have a larger bird, these are your cuttlebone. About 5-6" tall!!! Very pleased with my purchase.

WoW is an understatement these are a very good size! My parakeets have been going thru cuttlefish so fast I can’t keep them on hand this will last them a few days but the size is AMAZING!! Fast shipping none were broken either

These are the best cuddle bones for the price I've seen in a while. I actually was surprised they were the big ones.Of the 3 pk, one was split a bit at top approx 3 inches but not a waste. Can use broken one & use treat clip to attach. If you're comfortable, sometimes they break off and don't have sharp edges. But it's hit or miss.(Note that broken one could have broke during shipping . It was sent in Amazon blue and white shipping envelope instead of a box with bubble wrap.)Definitely recommend this item to those with multiple birds. Just beacuse it was a bit cracked, I think these were great. They arrived in time.

So Happy about them getting better. My birds beaks are slowly starting to improve and got rid of their green beaks.!
