Here's my thoughts on this blanket. Sadly there doesn't look to be any out there that are great. They are missing the mark.-Plug should be in a bottom corner, not bottom middle-Cord should be longer from blanket side plug to controller, too short for comfort.-Cord should be more flexible. It's stiff as can be, just coils back up.-Foot pockets are pitiful, the heat isn't all the way around and the pockets are odd.-Safety label is in a bad place and is huge and ugly.-Blanket is soft but the internal wires have no padding.I really want to like it but Sunbeam has failed in how they built this. It will warm you and is soft, that's about it. I wrap what should be the upper part around me feet and put the corded end on my lap. Really the only way it is adequate. Kinda sad.

Well you wont freeze but not very good. the blanket heats fine the problem is major for me cause I want warm feet so the foot pocket is to small not deep enough and the electric heat dosnt wrap around the end to go under the foot pocket. If some one is searching to buy an electric blanket with a foot pocket heat hint electric, then make sure you dont skimp where the heat is wanted most. simple. COLD FEET. The cord is to short but you can use extension cord but your heater control cord is also short and you cant reach it and stay comfortable. Needs longer heater control cord. I think I am gonna fold in half and sew at the bottom to make a open pocket. If it didnt shut off then you could live with the short cord.
