These were super easy to use. They melted down easily and took pigment and scented oil nicely. These are very beginner friendly and are perfect for those who are intimidated with using lye soap recipes.

When this package of soap base granules arrives, immediately throw away the awful instruction sheet. Then go to youtube and watch some tutorials on soap making with this ingredient. After that, you will be in a good position to get started making your own soap.

I make hand made soap as a hobby. I believe these pellets are to make melt and pour soap; they look like very basic white soap pellets. Completely ignore the information included and the info in the product photos. That information is very general, and is about making soap from scratch (that is, the process that would produce these pellets). Regarding these pellets, they don't really melt very evenly. I wanted to check the ingredients, to see what might be going on, why they are more difficult to work with, but there are no ingredients given. I just think there are options out there that work better and more easily than these pellets, I would probably purchase something different next time.
