let me start by saying I am a big fan of suukeen products, they are high quality, fit well, made with comfortable material. this item meets all of those except for fitting well. for some reason the hat portion does not come down too far so the coverage is not enough over the ears especially on a cold day. the muff part is super soft and cozy so I've been using it with another one of their hats. the hat should come down far enough that when the muff is on there is complete coverage all the way around. if it were any other make I would have given 2.5-3 stars.

This warm 2-piece fleece scarf and hat set is very comfortable and well-made. It is lightweight, and I like the fact that both pieces are lined. The hat covers my ears, which I also really like. I have washed these in lukewarm water, and it washed well and dried quickly. It was very convenient to wear when I was shoveling this winter, because it stayed in place nicely and did not slide around on my head or fall off of my neck, like a normal scarf might. I have a narrow head, so it fit me well; but if you have a wider head, it might be a bit snug. The blue color is lovely, and the stitching is done well. I feel this is an excellent value and I recommend!

The hat part (if you can even call it that) is essentially useless without the scarf. It fits funny on the head and doesn't cover my ears snugly, and the fabric is so thin it was no good against the cold wind. You have to wear both pieces because the scarf essentially holds the hat in place. Nice scarf, lousy hat.

So soft! This product is exactly as described and pictured in the description. The fabric is very soft and 'cuddly' feeling, I had to force myself to stop stroking it and put it away - ha ha!We bought these at the end of the season so will have to wait until next year to wear them and review the performance but I suspect it will be a great review because I cannot see how this would not be warm and cozy when worn in the cold weather!

I really like the vibrant orange of this hat and scarf set. Both are lined for extra warmth. The hat is lined with a layer of black fleece that is similar weight to the orange fleece on the outside. It has an elastic pull cord to prevent it from flying off and the flaps are long enough to protect ears from cold breezes. The scarf is lined with a soft, cozy, polyster fur that feels very cozy against the neck. I rubbed both against my hair to test the antistatic claim, and am happy to report that my hair did not stand up on end.Both are a bit on the smallish side. This is worth noting because fit makes all the difference in staying warm on a cold winter day. The hat is just a tad too small for my 22" head, and the scarf is a bit snug. This is not an issue because I can pass them along to my niece. Keep this in mind in case your head is the same size as or bigger than mine.Overall, this is a decent purchase at the price point. and will keep easily provide warmth in temperatures up to freezing. Below that, layer the hat with a hood, especially if spending lots of time outside.

This is a felt hat with a lined neck gaiter. When worn alone, the hat looks like it came from "The Handmaid's Tale" wardrobe room. Under something else it's a good base layer. I like that it has a chin strap that keeps it tight over your ears. The gaiter is one non adjustable ring of fabric, so it could be loose or tight depending on your head and neck diameters. That said, I absolutely love the gaiter as a headband. The lining is delightfully soft and I can wear it wide, folded in half or folded to show a bit of lining on both sides.
